Super Skips provides fast, efficient and affordable skip bin hire in Ipswich. We’re a family owned and operated business, and we work with everyone from DIY renovators through to tradies, demolition businesses and beyond.
We’re run by Ryan and Tamara Nicholson, a husband and wife team. Ryan drives one of our delivery trucks and spends his days picking up and delivering skip bins all over Ipswich.

Are there any restrictions on where the skip bin can be placed on my property?
Skip bins can be placed pretty much anywhere on private property if you live in Ipswich. We can’t place a skip bin on a nature strip, footpath or pathway, on the road, or on an easement (e.g. a strip of land that’s owned by someone else).
You may need to get a permit from Ipswich City Council if you need to place a skip on the road or other public property, like a nature strip.

There typically isn’t a weight limit on our skip bins. However, we charge an additional fee for general waste that’s 50% or more heavy items like concrete, bricks, rocks and soil. Tell us what you’re using the skip bin for, and we’ll provide a flat rate quote.
Can I hire a skip bin for mixed waste types, or do I need separate bins?
Yes, you can hire a skip bin for mixed waste. This is called “general waste.” We recommend hiring separate bins if you are also disposing of recyclable items, such as clean concrete, construction timber or green waste.
Separating these items into their own skip bins makes it easy for us to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. We’re also able to offer discounts to commercial customers that recycle clean concrete and timber with us.
Do I need to be present for the delivery and collection of the skip bin?
You don’t need to be present for the delivery or collection of a skip bin, unless the bin is located on a part of the property we can’t access. Simply tell us where you want the skip and we’ll make sure it’s placed in the right spot.
